Téa Mutonji is an award-winning poet and writer. Born in Congo-Kinshasa, she grew up in Scarborough and in 2017 won the What’s Your Story, Scarborough? emerging-writers award, presented by the Ontario Book Publishers Organization. Her work has been published in Joyland Magazine, The Puritan, Bad Nudes, Minola Review, The Temz Review and Train: A Poetry Journal. Téa was the recipient of the Jasun Singh Memorial Award in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
