Randy Boyagoda

Randy Boyagoda is the author of five books, including, most recently, “Original Prin” (Biblioasis), which was named a Globe and Mail Best Book of 2018. His fiction has been nominated for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and the IMPAC Dublin Literary Prize and been selected as a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice. He is a professor of English at the University of Toronto, where he is also Principal and Vice-President of St. Michael’s College and holds the Basilian Chair in Christianity, Arts and Letters. A former President of PEN Canada, Randy is the Chair of the 2019 Scotiabank Giller Prize jury and lives in the east end of Toronto with his wife and four children.
