Danièle Courchesne is a consultant specializing in children’s literature. The desire to develop lifelong readers through the use of children’s literature has always been at the heart of her teaching and professional life. For the last 10 years, she has worked with the Livres Ouverts website at the Quebec Ministry of Education, promoting the use of children’s literature in the classroom. In addition, she shares her passion via her column in Lurelu, a magazine devoted exclusively to French-Canadian children’s literature, and she collaborates with the Canadian Children’s Book Centre. She is a former elementary school teacher.
